Digital Sales Room - Case Study

The project was initiated in response to a pressing challenge faced by sales, customers, and vendors of a leading paint manufacturer in India. Traditionally, selecting the right colour and texture for a paint job has been a cumbersome and time-consuming process for the sales & vendors, often leading to delay & dissatisfaction of customers with the result. Also, no seamless communication existed for them to visualize how different paint colours would look on their walls, while vendors faced challenges in effectively showcasing their visualizations with quick turnarounds

This lack of visualization led to numerous issues, including:

  • Uncertainty about paint choices due to which there were back and forth communication between Vendors/Sales Officers & Customers leading to delayed decision-making, subsequently causing delayed or no sale
  • Vendors struggling to accurately convey the range of paint options available, resulting in missed sales opportunities.
  • Overall inefficiency in the paint selection process, communication and closure of sales.

Solution Statement:

A web application aimed at revolutionizing the paint selection and visualization that allows customers to directly experiment with different colours virtually. Through the digital sales room platform, sales can upload images of customers' sites and visualize how various paint shades of this paint manufacturer would look in real time. Additionally, vendors can utilize the platform to create customized virtual painting projects and share microsite links with their sales team & customers, streamlining communication processes and enhancing customer engagement.
